Sweet and Savory is a great way to learn a little bit about Austin’s culinary. It shows the diversity of the food truck industry and allows you to explore the wide variety of them in Austin. This magazine includes fun quizzes, nice insights into food truck owners lives, and really interesting facts about food trucks. Included in this magazine are also fun facts for foodies, and a little bit of history of the origin of food trucks. This magazine was a very fun activity and it brought three splendid gals together. Throughout the process of creating this we stumbled upon problems like finding interviews, agreeing on ideas, coming up with the ideas, transcribing our interviews and more. Sometimes we had to wait for days to come up with something because we wanted things to be perfect. We wanted to create something that we would be very proud of and that we would come to love. Throughout this magazine we follow a geometric theme that enhances our topic and theme. This theme is really fun and simple and isn’t too distracting to the audience. Overall, Sweet and Savory is a wonderful magazine to read whenever you want to hear background stories, read fun facts, take personality quizzes and more!

Anushka Parag is a freshman at LASA High. Her hobbies include baking and drawing. She has a passion for desserts whether it’s making them or learning about the industry. She loves Austin for being a unique, creative and the adventurous city with amazing food and a great community.
Miloni Patel is a freshman at LASA high school. She loves dance, music, and good jokes. She has a passion for learning new things including all types of cooking. She loves interacting with people, engaging in new activities, and Austin as a whole for being so culinarily diverse!
Fabi Ramirez is a freshman at Liberal Arts and Science Academy and loves food. She loves to play soccer and socialize with people, as well as dancing. She also enjoys traveling and being in the outdoors. One of her favorite hobbies is to eat and be active in the kitchen. She also has a strong passion for Austin’s culture and unique culinary art.
